Attempted to get up at 4 this morning and get tons of work done. It wasn’t happening. I couldn’t fall asleep last night despite going to bed at around 10. I think it took me till around 12. I was physically and mentally exhausted but I have a lot on my mind right now, including wondering whether Natalia will get a chance to revise my abstract, and therefore whether I’ll get to submit it.

It’s not due till December 1 but she’s leaving Tuesday to go to Kyoto and won’t be back till after the due date.

I have waaaay too much stuff to do. I hate this time of year.
