Damn Spam

It appears that people have now figured out that they can spam del.icio.us tags. I won’t point you to the specific example, but be aware that it’s happening. People put the site they want to spam on del.icio.us with every tag they can think of, most not related, and it shows up on my RSS feeds from the tags I’m watching.

Awesome.

This sort of thing is why I’ve really begun to hate advertising. I know, I know, it’ll never go away, but it’s not like watching TV — sometimes ads just don’t belong. Del.icio.us is one of those places.

Crashed and Burned

I attempted to get some interviews today without much success. I did get one from the magnanimous Molly Maleckar, and another from Martin Fink, which will be posted later.

Today is Day 3

The conference has kept me extremely busy. I’ll have some stuff to write about, but probably not until this weekend.

Missing My Car

I liked my car. It was nothing special, but I liked it. I miss it. I do hope it comes back, no matter what shape it’s in. Also, it’s been a long day, and I’m tired and emotional.

Are you my car?.

There are a lot of green saturns around here. Every time I see one that’s what I think. It reminds me of one of my first books (see link). And now I’m going to bed, because moping isn’t helping anyone.

goodnight world. goodnight Lucky, wherever you are.

Car Stolen

My car was stolen last night. It’s a green ’95 Saturn SL2 (4-door) with a stock spoiler and Michigan plate, YWJ 345. It also has an empty black front license plate bracket and stock mud flaps. If you see it please call me at 296-5872, and/or the police, or whatever you think might be a good idea.

It has been reported to the police.
