Moving to MySpace

After several years of posting here on VirtuallyShocking, I have decided it’s time for a change.

I’m moving my blog to MySpace.

My encounters with MySpace have left my enamored of its many perks and virtues. From its naturally-pleasing layout to its wide compatibility with standards, and its open architecture, I find it far superior to running my own WordPress installation.

You may find my future posts at http://myspace.com/brocktice. Adieu!

Fafblog is BACK!

I am not fooling at all. It’s only one two posts so far, but hopefully the site re-design indicates that Fafnir, Giblets, and the gang are back.

Site is here, RSS feed (which is not listed on the Fafblog for some reason) is here.

All hail Fafblog!

Sandy Now Has Private iCal Feeds

Sandy has had iCal feeds for a while, but I couldn’t use them with Google Calendar. Well, now they’ve created “private” iCal feeds. I use quotes on “private”, because it’s not really protected in any way, except that it has an obscure, randomly-generated URL. However, this is good enough for an application like Sandy.

I’m going to post soon about how I use Sandy, Jott, and Google Calendar as a combined virtual assistant. Sandy aims to be a good virtual assistant on her own, but there are some advantages to using Jott and Google Calendar with her.
